The first smartwatches running Google’s Android Wear software are now available for purchase. You can order the Samsung Gear Live from the Google Play Store for $199 or the LG G Watch for $229.
Both models should begin shipping in early July.
Motorola’s Moto 360 should be available in a few more weeks.

Android Wear is Google’s platform for smartwatches and other wearable devices. It’s designed to display notifications from your Android phone on your wrist and let you respond to messages, search the web, or perform other activities using voice commands.
But that’s just the start. You can also use Android Wear as a remote control for Android TV, use third party apps to order a pizza from your wrist, display your boarding pass as you’re about to get on an airplane, and much more.
The Samsung Gear Live features a 1.63 inch, 320 x 320 pixel Super AMOLED display, a 1.2 GHz processor, a 300mAh battery for 1 day of run time, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, a heart rate monitor, and Bluetooth Low Energy.

LG’s G Watch has a 1.65 inch, 280 x 280 pixel IPS LCD display, a 1.2 GHz CPU, a 400mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of storage.
Both devices feature USB pogo pins for charging, but the G Watch also has a micro USB charging cradle.
man, the 1 day battery life is a big turn off.
I take the LGs resolution of 280×820 is a typo. Shame really. I got excited for a moment.
Hehe… Sorry to get your hopes up!
Noooo so we’re waiting on the 360 to get wireless charging, darnit.
