The X130 is the third netbook from electronics maker LG. And to be honest, it looks an awful lot like the LG X110 and X120 netbooks. The main difference is that the LG X130 packs a 9 cell battery that LG says should last for up to 12 hours.
Otherwise, the LG X130 is prety standard fare, with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WIFi, Bluetooth 2.0, and Windows XP Home Edition. The netbook measures measures 10.3″ x 7.1″ and is between 1.06″ and x 27 x 1.93″ thick, due to the high capacity battery. The battery also seems to weigh the LG X120 down. It tips the scales at 3.2 pounds, which is pretty light for a full sized laptop, but fairly heavy for a netbook.
The laptop won’t be available in the US at launch, but it’s due out soon in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East for about $630.
