Lenovo’s next Yoga Pro convertible notebook is on the way, and it could be one of the first devices to ship with an Intel Core M Broadwell low-power processor.

We first heard about the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro in a listing from Indonesian regulatory agency Postel last month. Now more details are emerging.

Redditor commodoor posted some details and what looks like data from a retail inventory system confirming the specs. Meanwhile, as Mobile Geeks notes, a handful of online stores in Europe including Foeniks and Datia for the computer and they seem to confirm the specs.

So here’s what we can expect:

  • 13.3 inch, 3200 x 1800 pixel IPS display
  • Intel Core M 5Y70 processor
  • Intel HD 5300 graphics
  • 802.11ac WiFi
  • Bluetooth 4.0
  • 44.8 Whr battery (7 hours)

Like other members of the Yoga family, the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro is a notebook with a touchscreen display and a 360 degree hinge. Push the screen back until it’s back-to-back with the keyboard and the system becomes a tablet.

This model has a magnesium-alloy case, HDMI, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, 8GB of RAM, up to 512GB of solid state storage, stereo speakers, and a 720p webcam with dual microphones. It has a backlit keyboard and the system will apparently come in multiple colors including orange and gold.

  1. Well, the battery is 10 Whr smaller than the Yoga 2 pro. That kind of sucks, but who knows, maybe it won’t need it.

  2. This is really interesting, thanks. I was also about to buy a yoga 2…Any info on the weight??

  3. I was 99% sure this was going to happen ! Looks they have resolved most of the issue with the previous Lenovo … I just wonder if they will have a model with a lower resolution and better battery (10hr).
Any idea about the price ?

  4. I have the yoga 2 pro. Great device overall. The main dislikes is battery life (decent, not great) and fans (never a fan of fans!). Hopefully both those issues should be fixed in the yoga 3. A less glossy screen would be great too.

  5. So when do we think we can order this, I was just about ready to buy a Yoga 2, but seems best to wait.. if it is a few weeks, or do we think this is months away?

  6. With those specs it is sure to be a pricey beast. Desirable but pricey.

    1. The prices given on the EU sites convert to about $1500, although I assume it wouldn’t cost quite that much in the US.

  7. Thinness is my only concern for the Yoga 3… That Core M may help but… Time will tell
