Lenovo may be working on new Android tablets with 1920 x 1200 pixel display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processors, and  Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software.
The unannounced Lenovo B8080 tablet showed up recently at the GFXBench website. While the benchmarking site offers only partial specs and no pictures, it does provide a hint about Lenovo’s upcoming plans.
Update: It looks like this is the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ which is coming in April, 2014 for $349 and up.
Lenovo’s latest Android tablets are the inexpensive Lenovo Yoga 8 and Yoga 10, which sell for $249 and up. These tablets feature 1280 x 800 pixel displays, Android 4.2 software, and MediaTek MT8125 quad-core chips.
It’s possible the B8080 is an updated model featuring a higher-resolution display and faster processor, but a similar design — what makes the Yoga tablets special is a hinge that lets you prop up the tablet on a desk or table without a separate stand or case. Or maybe the B8080 is something entirely new.
As component prices fall, the spec bump doesn’t necessarily mean a price jump either. Qualcomm positions the Snapdragon 400 processor as a low-cost alternative to its Snapdragon 600 and 800 chips, and as full HD panels become more common, they become easier to slip into budget tablets without driving up the price. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 and Google Nexus 7, for instance, both have 7 inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel screens and prices around $230.

It isn’t fair to make any sort of comparison between this and the Kindle Fire or Google Nexus slabs. This has an SDCard slot, the other don’t. That’s a very big deal for many of us.
Wouldn’t Snapdragon 410 be better suited for 1080p or 1200p resolution? I wouldn’t trust Snapdragon 400 performance above 720p much.
