Lenovo recently unveiled a line of small, low-cost Android tablets under the Tab3 name, along with a 10 inch model with a higher price tag and better specs.
Now it looks like Lenovo may be targeting the Tab3 10 at business customers, because a device called the Lenovo Tab3 10 Business just showed up at the FCC website, complete with a user guide and photos showing the tablet’s insides.
The Tab3 10 is expected to feature a 10 inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel display, a 1.3 GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, a 7,000 mAh battery, and a starting price of $199 for a WiFi-only model with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
A model with 3GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and 4G LTE should sell for about $299.
According to the FCC listing, the model number for the WiFi-only model is TB3-X70F, while the Lenovo Tab3 10 Business TB3-x70L is the 4G capable version.
Each version features front and rear cameras, a microSD card reader, micro USB connector, and rear-facing stereo speakers. Lenovo says the tablet has a “water repellent barrier” thanks to “advanced nano-coating technology” to help protect it from splashes, spills, or light rain. But the company does not recommend dropping the tablet into a bath or swimming pool — it’s not waterproof.
