Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet

Lenovo may have a new line of tablets scheduled to hit the streets this year, but the company isn’t turning its back on customers that purchased the original ThinkPad Tablet in 2011.

The company says it will be rolling out a software update bringing Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to its business tablet in the second quarter of 2012.

The ThinkPad Tablet has a 10.1 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display, a stylus, more physical buttons than you’ll find on most Android tablets, and an optional Folio case with a built-in keyboard and pointing stick in the center.

Android 4.0 will bring a refined user interface to the tablet, as well system-wide spell-checking, an improved on-screen keyboard, better voice recognition, a new contact manager, and other features.
