In November Lenovo unveiled a new line of Android tablets for the Chinese market. They featured 5 to 10 inch displays and fell unde rhte Lenovo LePad brand name. Now Lenovo is announcing the global versions, with the series wearing the IdeaTab S2 name.
There will be three different models available, a 5 inch tablet, a 7 inch tablet, and a 10 inch tablet. The 5 inch model will have an 800 x 480 pixel display and phone calling capabilities, while the larger models will have high resolution 1280 x 800 pixel displays.
Detailed specs for the international versions are scarce, but the Chinese versions of the 7 and 10 inch tablets feature 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual core processors, 1GB of RAM, front and rear camera,s and microUSB, microHDMI, and microSD card ports.
