A previously unannounced Lenovo tablet called the IdeaTab S2109 has popped up at the FCC website. Detailed photos and specifications aren’t available yet, but the tablet appears to have a TI chip — and the folks at Engadget suggest that it may have a 9.7 inch, 4:3 aspect ratio display.

Lenovo IdeaTab S2109

The one drawing of the tablet available certainly doesn’t make the S2109 look like a device with a widescreen display, so I’m guessing Engadget’s sources are correct.

While it’s not clear exactly what processor the tablet uses, it has a TI WiLink WL1281 wireless module with support for WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and FM Radio. That suggests the tablet has a TI OMAP processor.

It’s also likely that the tablet will be part of the IdeaTab S2 family if and when it goes on sale in the US. Lenovo unveiled a handful of S2 tablets in January including models with 5, 7, and 10 inch displays.
