Lenovo has quietly begun taking orders for the IdeaPad Yoga 11, a Windows RT laptop that transforms into a tablet when you push the screen back 360 degrees. When the lid is folded back, you can use the Yoga 11 like a tablet. When it’s open, the portable computer works like a notebook.

With the coupon code CYBERMONDAY, you can order the Yoga 11 from Lenovo for $679.20 and up. It’s expected to ship in “more than 4 weeks,” which means it’ll arrive sometime around Christmas, if you’re lucky.

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11

The Yoga 11 features twin 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel displays, 2GB of RAM, and 1.4 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processors.

For $679 you get a model with 32GB of storage (about half of which is reserved for Windows RT and preloaded apps. Lenovo also offers a 64GB model for $759.20.

Both versions feature 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI output, and 720p cameras.

As Windows RT tablets, these devices will be come with a version of Microsoft Office and they’ll be able to run apps from the Windows Store. But you won’t be able to install software designed for older versions of Windows unless the developers update those programs to run on devices with ARM-based processors.

If you’re looking for a full Windows 8 tablet in a Yoga-like form factor, Lenovo also offers a 13 inch IdeaPad Yoga with an Intel Ivy Bridge processor and Microsoft’s full Windows 8 operating system. Prices for that model start at $999.

Uh… what? Someone better call Lenovo and tell them factories goofed by putting in two screens when the whole time the Yoga has been advertised as having only one.

    1. 360 is a full circle to return to starting position, so 180 is correct…

  2. i think you mean one screen that rotate 180 degree and becomes a tablet…

    1. Sorry… someone should clearly keep me from writing at night when my brain is fuzzy. I’d just been reading an article about the Asus Taichi when I came across this news.

  3. Kinda cool, but I’d rather an ARM based Chromebook with a real Linux distro at this point (I hope they get graphics acceleration working).
