Lenovo’s latest laptops designed to bend over backwards are coming to America for $629 and up. Last month the company started showing off its Flex line of laptops in Singapore, and now the company is showing off 14 and 15 inch models at IFA in Berlin.

The touchscreen notebooks share a little bit of DNA with Lenovo’s Yoga line of laptops, but instead of allowing you to fold back the screen 360 degrees until you’re holding a tablet, the screen goes back 300 degrees so it’s facing away from the keyboard for use in presentation mode. It also kind of lets you use the notebook like an all-in-one desktop with a touchscreen.

Lenovo’s Flex laptops will be available with up to an Intel Core i7 processor, optional NVIDIA GT740M graphics, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage space. But they’re also reasonably compact, measuring about 0.9 inches thick and weighing around 4 pounds.

Models will be available with 1366 x 768 pixel or 1920 x 1080 pixel displays, and all Flex laptops will feature 10-point capacitive multitouch displays.

Something tells me you won’t get 8GB of RAM, a Core i7 processor, a full HD display, or discrete graphics for the $629 starting price, but it’s nice to have a choice between affordable and high-performance models.
