Smartphones with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 chip only started shipping recently and the Snapdragon 810 isn’t out yet. But there are reports that the company could ship Snapdragon 815 and 820 chips later this year, along with updated 600 series processors.
Take this all with a grain of salt — Qualcomm hasn’t actually announced any of these chips yet and even if the details that have been leaked are accurate, things could change by the time the processors are released.
The most powerful of the new chips is said to be the upcoming Snapdragon 820, which is said to be a 64-bit, 8-core processor based on Qualcomm’s custom design (in other words, it’ll be based on ARM architecture, but it won’t be an ARM Cortex-A57 chip).
The Snapdragon 820 is expected to feature Adreno 530 graphics, a 14nm FinFet manufacturing processor, and support for faster memory and faster 4G LTE wireless networks.
Qualcomm is also allegedly working on a slightly less powerful chip called the Snapdragon 815. It’s also an octa-core processor, but it will have four high-performance CPU cores paired with four lower-performance cores in an ARM big.LITTLE arrangement while the 820 is expected to only have the higher performance cores.
The Snapdragon 815 chip is also expected to feature Adreno 450 graphics.
Other new chips mentioned in the leaked roadmap include Snapdragon 620, 625, and 629 processors for mid-range smartphones. These are 20nm chips with Adreno 418 graphics. The 620 is a quad-core processor while the 625 and 629 chips are octa-core processors.
There’s also a Snapdragon 616 chip on the way. This is another chip for mid-range devices and it’s a 28nm chip with Adreno 408 graphics and eight ARM Cortex-A53 64-bit processor cores.

Fake, but the leaked Samsung, Huawei, LG roadmap is real. Just give me a second and I will write down, then I will post on Twitter.
Ridiculous.
