Looking for a tablet that you can plop in a stand and use like a desktop? Sure, the Apple iPad has an optional keyboard dock. But the Jumper JK01-TT runs Windows 7 and shis with a wireless keyboard, mouse, and stand.

The tablet has a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel multitouch display, 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 250G hard drive, 2MP webcam, and 802.11b/g WiFi and 3G. It has 3 USB ports, a 4-in-1 flash card reader, and has a 3000mAh battery. The tablet also apparently has a VGA/HDMI combination output.

I’d take that promise of an HDMI port with a grain of salt though, since the web site also says that it has GMA 950 graphics, while every other computer I’ve seen with an Atom N450 processor actually has GMA 3150 graphics.

The JK01-TT measure 11.4″ x 5.9″ x 0.8″ and weighs 2.6 pounds.

The tablet, keyboard, mouse, and stand will set you back $671.65 from Ownta.com.

  1. As a matter of fact I’m working on a tablet with Windows 7 as of the release of the Windows 7 RC and I think it works perfectly!
I have all applications I need and I am definately looking for a new tablet with Windows 7!

  2. Too pricey, not enough run time, wrong operating system. I know a lot of people want a Win7 tablet, but I would like to ask them if they have ever TRIED a windows tablet. I think Win7 is a good operating system but it was not built around a touch interface. The reason the ipad works so well is it was built with an interface designed from the ground up with touch in mind. It doesn’t matter if you put a touch enabled layer on top of Win7, it will never work as well as WebOS, Android or the ipod touch/ipad version of OSX.

  3. Is there a SSD option? You’d think taht teh weigh savings and less power draw would make having and SSD extremely important to these devices. Price is an issue…but weight and power are big issues too.

  4. This one seems interesting enough as well!

Still in doubt to wait for the Hanvon! Does anybody have some experience with this device?
When I compare it to the Hanvon, the Hanvon should be 2 mm thinner, 3.7 cm shorter, 1.8 cm more in width and 300 grams lighter! But the Hanvon doesn’t have 3G. And the Hanvon is supposed to have a 320 GB instead of a 250 GB HDD.

One other important thing I would like to know is how the brightness of the screen can be adjusted.

I would love to here some of your experiences either with the device or with Ownta.com

  5. It definitely needs 720p out. Seriously, if the iPad and produce 720p anything with win7 must do it ;). . . otherwise that just looks bad.

Personally I could get on board with a nice Win7 tablet but it has to have the GPU power and a better battery life than ~4 hours. Maybe with the new Atom coming. Time will tell.
