HTC continues to undermine the “HTC One” product name by rolling out new models with different specs and features. Just a few months after introducing its latest flagship phone, the HTC One M9, the company launched the M9+ in China. Now there’s yet another model, and this one’s called the HTC One ME.

The HTC One ME has the same basic design as other phones int he series, but this model is one of the first phones powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 processor.

That’s MediaTek’s new 64-bit, ARM Cortex-A53 octa-core processor with a top clock speed of 2.2 GHz

Other features of the HTC One M9 ME include a 5.2 inch, 2560 x 1440 pixel display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 4G LTE, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, a 20MP rear camera, a 4MP UltraPixel front-facing camera, a 2840 mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC’s Sense software.

The phone supports dual SIM cards so it can be used on two wireless networks at the same time.

All told, the new model has a higher-resolution display and a different display than the original HTC One M9, which is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 CPU. Unlike the original HTC One M9, this model also has a fingerprint sensor.

On the other hand, the original HTC One M9 has one thing going for it that the One M9 ME does not: it’s available internationally. The new model will be sold exclusively in China, at least at launch.
