Have your eye on an HTC One smartphone but want a model with 64GB of storage, and unlocked bootloader, and no wireless contract?

HTC has you covered. Pre-orders are now open for the HTC One Developer Edition. You can pre-order the phone now, and it’ll start shipping to customers April 18th.

HTC One

The developer edition of HTC’s new flagship smartphone will run you $649. That’s because it comes without any carrier subsidies — and that’s the price you pay for an unlocked phone. It supports HSPA/WCDMA, GSM/GPRS, and LTE networks and will be available only in the US at launch.

In addition to having an unlockable bootloader, the SIM is unlocked, so you can use it on any supported wireless network.

HTC”s phone features a 4.7 inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, and twice as much storage as the non-developer edition.
