HTC Flyer Tablet

HTC and Sprint may be preparing to offer a 4G WiMAX capable tablet called the HTC Evo View soon. Neither company has made an official announcement yet, but the CTIA trade show is just around the corner, and the folks at Good and Evo dug up a trademark application for “HTC Evo View 4G” this week.

Sprint is the only carrier that uses the “Evo” branding, and it’d be awfully silly to use 4G in the name if the device wasn’t going to support WiMAX.

It’s possible that the device in question is a phone, but an Engadget tipster suggests it’s actually a tablet. What we don’t know is if the Evo View is Sprint’s name for the new HTC Flyer tablet or if HTC has something different up its sleeve.
