HP TouchPad

The HP TouchPad tablet currently comes in two models: one with 16GB of storage and another with 32GB. But starting next month there may be a few new options including a 64GB model and a version with support for AT&T’s HSPA+ 4G wireless network.

PreCentral obtained a leaked document with information about HP’s upcoming plans for webOS tablets and phones. According to the documents the 64GB model won’t just have more storage than the TouchPad models that hit stores this week — it will also feature a “processor bump.” It’s not clear what that means yet, but PreCentral suggests HP could move from a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core chip to a 1.5 GHz version.

The 64GB tablet will also reportedly have a white glossy finish, unlike the black glossy plastic case found on the current crop of TouchPad tablets.

The new AT&T model will be virtually identical to the WiFi-only 32GB model which currently retails for $599.99. The only difference is that it will have a 4G modem.
