mini 311 dissected

The HP Mini 311 is an 11.6 inch notebook with an Intel Atom processor and NVIDIA ION graphics. And if you’ve ever wondered what the computer’s guts look like, MyHPMini forum member teknokracy can help. He picked up a Mini 311 this weekend and immediately proceeded to dissect it to see what makes the computer ticks.

The HP Mini 311 has been shipping for weeks, so I’m kind of surprised that it’s taken this long for someone to post a good teardown photo shoot. Tekokracy reports that the computer was fairly easy to disassemble, but there’s not a lot of room for modifications in the inside, although the bulky card reader is removable if you wanted to put something else in its place.
