Pogoplug and Google aren’t the only companies with visions of printers that work without a cord running to a PC. HP has just launched its first all-in-one printer with support for wireless printing.
The printer is WiFi capable, and has an email address. What this means is you can hook the printer up to your router and instead of hitting the print button, all you have to do is email an image, web page, or document to your printer’s email address. That means you can print from your phone, tablet, laptop, or virtually any device you use to access the internet without installing drivers or plugging in a cable.
The HP D110a also works as a scanner and copier and sells for under $100.
IMO; it will make printing from any where very convenient. At $100, it is very affordable. I think it is a good idea.
