dell-mini-touchscreen

While few netbook makers have released mini-laptops with built in touchscreens, it seems like every time a new netbook hits the market, there’s some hacker willing to rip it apart and add a touchscreen the hard way – manually. But it’s taken a while for the first Dell Inspiron Mini 9 touchscreen hack to show up, possibly because the internal USB lines are a bit difficult to decipher. Fortunately, one member of the MyDellMini forums found a solution by sacrificing one of the netbook’s external USB ports.

If you find a touchscreen more useful than having an extra port for external devices, you might want to check out his tutorial. If you just enjoy watching people drag a stylus across a computer screen, check out the video after the break.
