The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 family is expanding this year to include a tablet and a convertible. But for the past few years the ThinkPad X1 Carbon has been Lenovo’s flagship premium ultra-portable laptop.
This year the company is upgrading the laptop with new processor and memory options and a more compact design.
The new ThinkPad X1 Carbon weighs 2.6 pounds, measures about 0.66 inches thick, and supports up to an Intel Core i7, Skylake processor and up to 16GB of RAM.
It also has a 14 inch matte display that comes in 1920 x 1080 pixel or 2560 x 1440 pixel resolutions.
The notebook has a TrackPoint pointing stick, a fingerprint scanner, Three USb ports, DisplayPort, HDMI, and headset jacks, and it features a 180 degree hinge that lets you fold the screen down flat.
