It looks like the Gigabyte Q2005 we spotted yesterday isn’t the only member of Gigabyte’s netbook family that’s getting a dual core upgrade. The company has also added the Gigabyte M1005 to its netbook line, with a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core CPU.
The M1005 is similar to the company’s earlier Booktop netbooks, which means it’s designed to work with a docking station so that you can stick the computer sideways on your desk, plug in a monitor, keyboard, mouse and other peripherals, and use it as desktop computer — one which you can also grab and go for use around the house or on the road.
The computer has a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1GB of memory, a 250GB or 320GB hard drive, 3 USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet and audio jacks, and a memory card reader. It has 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and a 1.3MP webcam. The Gigabyte M1005 has a 4 cell battery.
The docking station also has 3 USB ports, Ethernet, mic, headphone, and D-sub jacks.

I wouldn’t buy it. I would go for the Gigabyte T1125N which has a better processor and switchable graphics.
I’d get that too if it wasn’t a complete ripoff for that much I need an ntrig active digitizer. If it has similar hardware I’d be on for the Asus EP121 because it can be a slate as well and it is $300 cheaper if the purported price is to be believed.
