Gigabyte is updating its line of tiny desktop computers with new models sporting 6th-gen Intel Core processors. The new Gigabyte BRIX systems feature Intel HD 520 graphics and will be available with up to a Core i7 Skylake processor.
Some models will also be the first BRIX mini PCs to feature USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3 ports.
Gigabyte’s little computer has room in the case for a 2.5 inch hard drive or solid state drive as well as an M.2 SSD. There are also 2 DDR3L-1600 SODIMM slots for memory under the hood, as well as a wireless card for 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2 connections.
The new BRIX also has mini DisplayPort and HDMI ports, allowing you to connect two displays at once, four USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, and a combo headphone and mic jack.
The new Skylake BRIX computers measure 4.7″ x 4.4″ x 1.4″.
Gigabyte also recently introduced a line of lower-power BRIX computers with Intel Braswell processors including models with Celeron N3000, Celeron N3150 and Celeron 3205U chips.
