Gateway has officially launched the LT23 netbook, with a 10 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, and Windows 7 Starter.

The mini-laptop comes with 1GB of DDR2 memory and either a 160GB or 250GB hard drive. A 6 cell, 4400mAh battery comes standard. Prices should range from $330 to $350.

The laptop has a multi-format flash card reader, a touchpad that supports multitouch gestures, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 3 USB ports and a VGA output.

The LG23 measures 10.2″ x 7.2″ x 0.9″ and weighs about 2.76 pounds.

If all that sounds a bit… typical, that’s because the specs don’t really set this model apart from any other netbook you’ve seen this year. But the style does… a little bit. It has a sort of pixelized swirl pattern on the lid and palm rest area. The LG23 is available in black as well as “champaine and pearl.”
