Fujitsu is launching its new line of Lifebook laptops, including two 12.1 inch portable models and a 13.3 inch convertible tablet.
There aren’t a lot of specs, and I’m not holding my breathe hoping for low price tags on these models. Fujitsu’s not known for making affordable laptops, and according to the press release these new models all feature “the 2nd generation of Intel Core Processor Family” which means the focus is on performance rather than price or battery life.
The Fujitsu Lifebook P701 and P771 both feature 12.1 inch screens. The company doesn’t spell out the specs for these models yet, but says the P701 fills the gap between the 10.1 inch Lifebook T580 which has been available since last year, and the company’s larger notebooks.
The new convertible tablet PC is the Lifebook T901.
The laptops are expected to start shipping in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in March.
