Fujitsu’s latest 2-in-1 tablet features a 13.3 inch full HD IPS display, a dual-digitizer with support for pen and finger input, and an optional keyboard docking station.

The company also says the Fujitsu Stylistic Q736 is its most secure 2-in-1 tablet to date. In addition to wireless SmartCard support thanks to NFC, the tablet supports advanced biometrics.

Instead of just scanning your fingerprint, the Stylistic Q736 can use Fujitsu’s PalmSecure technology to scan the veins in your palm. The company says this is faster, simpler, and more accurate than other biometric security options such as fingerprint or iris scanners.

The palm vein sensor is kind of chunky (it’s the big box on the right side of the tablet in the picture above), but in a demo video from Fujitsu, it does look pretty simple to use. Just hold your hand above it for a second and the sensor scans your hand to unlock your device.

Other enterprise-level security features include encrypted hard drives and TPM security.

Fujitsu offers two different keyboard docks, one with an extra battery inside and one without. There’s also a desk cradle if you want to dock the system and use it like a desktop PC.

The 2.2 pound tablet is powered by up to an Intel Core i7 Skylake processor, 4G LTE and GPS support, and support for Intel wireless display technology. It ships with Windows 10 Pro software and Fujitsu says the tablet should get up to 9.5 hours of battery life (or up to 15 hours when paired with a keyboard dock that has a secondary battery).

Fujitsu says the Stylistic Q736 should be available globally starting in March. Pricing will vary depending on the market.
