The folks at PC World Norway have a preview of the upcoming Acer Aspire One 751, which is one of the first 11.6 laptops in Acer’s Aspire One series. The computer’s a bit big by netbook standards, but it weighs just 2.7 pounds, which isn’t much more than Acer’s 8.9 inch netbooks.
The laptop will ship with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 CPU and GMA500 graphics. It features a wider keyboard than the one found on smaller Aspire One models. The keys are also flatter, making the keyboard look similar to the one on the HP Mini 1000. Probably the biggest difference between this computer and smaller Acer netbooks is the screen, which has a 1366 x 768 pixel display resolution.
The computer has access panels for replacing and upgrading the hard drive, RAM, wireless and 3G modules.
