Contract PC maker FIC will be introducing a subnotebook at Computex that looks a lot like a VIA Nanobook or OpenBook, but which will sport an Intel Atom CPU. Odds are you won’t see this computer hitting store shelves with the FIC name anytime soon. FIC makes computers which are then sold by major computer distributors with names that you’ve actually heard of.
Here’s what we know about the FIC CW0A1 so far. It’s got an 8.9 inch 1024 x 600 pixel LCD screen, an Intel Atom CPU, and weighs less than 1 kilgram. There’s also optional support for WiMAX.
