epson endeavor na02mini-v

Epson may be best known for printers in the US, but in Japan the company is launching a new netbook with a 10.1 inch screen and a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU. It’s at least the second netbook from the company. Ealier this year Epson introduced the Na01 with a 10.2 inch display and 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor.

The new Epson Na02mini-V doesn’t seem all that special. It has the usual integrated GMA 950 graphics, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, 3 USB ports, VGA output, Ethernet cable, and flash card reader. It supports 802.11b/g/n WiFi which sets it apart from at least a few netbooks on the market. But probably the best part is that the Epson Na02mini-V will weigh just 2.2 pounds with a 3 cell, 3 hour battery. A higher capacity 6 hour battery will be released later.
