The Identity Tab E201U is a 7 inch Android tablet from Korean device maker Enspert. It’s about the same size as a Samsung Galaxy Tab, but looks a bit like a first generation Apple iPad, thanks to the brushed aluminum case. James Kendrick posted a short review of the $300 tablet today at ZDNet.

In a nutshell, he seems to like the build quality and software. While the E201U comes with Google Android 2.2, it’s one of the few Android 2.x tablets to come with full access to the Google Android Market. It also comes preloaded with Google Maps, Gmail, and other Google software that’s absent from many budget tablets.

On the down side, the tablet has a low resolution 800 x 480 pixel display and a 3MP camera without any flash.

The tablet has a 1 GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, 512MB of RAM, 802.1n WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.1. It has a capacitive multiotuch display and supports Adobe Flash.

The Enspert Identity Tab E201U is available for $299.99 from J&R and $299 from Dynamism.
