Acer’s eMachines EZ 1600 is an all-in-one desktop PC with the same 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor found in most netbooks. It also packs an 18.5 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display, 802.11b/g WiFi, and a DVD-RW drive.
It’s not exactly a a powerhouse, but it sells for as little as $379.99. If you’re looking for a cheap desktop computer and you don’t care about playing high end video games, editing video, or watching HD content, the EZ 1600 might fit the bill. Blogeee’s Pierre LeCourt recently got a chance to check out an EZ 1600, and he’s posted a short unboxing and first look video that should give you a good idea of what the computer looks like and what kind of ports and other features it has.
You can check out the video after the break.
If it had a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse, it would have a cleaner look to it. Nevertheless, it does look rather nice. The price is pretty good for an all-in-one.
