Eeetiger is a light weight Linux distribution that’s been customized to run on the Asus Eee PC. Eeetiger is based on Puppy Linux, or TigerPup to be more precise. Puppy is a Linux distro with a small memory footprint that’s perfect for older machines or for running from a USB flash drive. Tigerpup is a modification that adds 3D desktop effects.

The Eee PC-specific version includes support for the Eee PC hardware. The screen resolution has been adjusted to 800 x 480 pixels, the WiFi drivers are working, and there are hotkeys for doing things like zooming in on windows and making windows fullscreen. You can also adjust the resolution to work with an Eee PC 901 or other model.
