The Dell Streak 7 is an Android tablet with a 7 inch, 800 x 480 pixel display and a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. It runs Google Android 2.2 and includes Dell’s Stage software. Honestly, it’s the kind of tablet I would have expected to see last year, but it came out in 2011. Still, despite the low resolution display and dated operating system, it’s one of the cheaper tablets available with an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor — and today it got a little cheaper.
When the tablet launched in April, Dell was charging $400 for a WiFi-only version of the tablet. Now you can pick one up for the “new low price” of $349.99.
Or if you’re in the market for two tablets, you can pick up two Dell Streak 7 WiFi tablets for $524.98 as part of Dell’s Hot Summer Days sale. You’ll need to click the buy button before 6:00AM Central Time on Saturday morning to double the tablet fun.
A Barnes & Noble NOOK Color with a higher resolution display is still cheaper, but it doesn’t have a dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.
