The Dell Streak 7 is a 7 inch Android tablet with an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, a Gorilla Glass display, and an HSPA+ modem. It has twin cameras, 16GB of storage, and runs Android 2.2 Froyo. We know all that because Dell told us in the official product announcement last week. Here’s what we didn’t know: what the tablet looks like on the inside. But now the folks at a Vietnamese site have posted photos and video of a Dell Streak 7 going under the knife.

The cover is reportedly difficult to remove — which shouldn’t be a surprise. It’s not exactly something PC makers encourage tablet customers to do. But once the lid is off, you can find details about the SanDisk SSD, the Hynix RAM, and the Texas Instruments controller chip, among other things.

Unfortunately the display appears to be the tablet’s weak spot, with an 800 x 480 pixel LCD screen. It’s not awful, but we’ve come to expect higher resolutions for the 7 inch form factor.
