Dell hasn’t really said much about its upcoming 10 inch Android tablet other than the fact that there is an upcoming 10 inch Android tablet. But during a earnings call yesterday, the company confirmed that the tablet will ship with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, the first version of Android designed specifically for tablets.

If that seemed like a no-brainer, it wasn’t really. The recently launched Dell Streak 7 tablet ships with Google Android 2.2 Froyo. Of course, that’s at least partially because Dell decided to start shipping the tablet before Honeycomb was ready.
