Google may have announced new phones, media streamers, and a new tablet this week, but if you don’t need all the latest bells and whistles, you can save some money by picking up last year’s tech.
Right now the 2014 Nexus 6 smartphone and Nexus Player media box are available for about half their original list price. You can snag a first-gen Chromecast for as little as $20 (if you don’t mind buying refurbished hardware… newer units cost a bit more). And the 2013 Nexus 7 tablet is way cheaper than the upcoming Pixel C tablet.
