Toshiba Satellite U845W

The Toshiba Satellite U845W is an ultrabook with an ultra-wide display. The screen measures 14.4 inches diagonally, but it has a resolution of 1792 x 768 pixels. That’s ideal for watching videos with a 21:9 aspect ratio, but as I discovered when I reviewed the laptop, it’s not all that easy to find videos in that format.

Fortunately there’s another way to put the screen to good use: multitasking. The U845W is a portable notebook with a screen wide enough to easily run two or three apps side by side. Normally the laptop sells for about $1000 and up, but Buy.com is offering it for about $150 off.

Here are some of the day’s best deals on mobile devices and accessories (including a pretty awful tablet and mini-laptop which I’m only including because they’re just so incredibly cheap).

You can find more bargains in our daily deals section.
