Most Chromebooks are cheap… but they’re not the only low-cost laptops. Sure, the new Acer Cloudbook is designed to compete on price, but Acer, HP, Asus, and others actually started releasing low-cost Windows laptops with Chromebook-like specs a while back.
Priced at around $200, these systems typically have Intel Bay Trail processors, 11.6 inch displays, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage… and since they’ve been around a while, they’re often on sale for lower-than-list prices.
