The Asus Transformer Pad TF300T is a 10 inch Android tablet with an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor and an optional keyboard dock. With a list price of $300, it’s already one of the cheapest tablets in its class, but today you can pickup a refurbished model for just $280… oh yeah, and it also comes with a keyboard docking station which doubles the battery life and makes typing a lot easier.

  1. Never seen a refurb of anything priced to compete with the MSRP…

If you’re too hard up to spend the extra 20 to get the new one, could that be because you’ve fallen for too many bad deals like this?

A refurb should be 30% less at least, so, around $200 would actually be a reasonable deal.

Feel free to not buy it, till those guys come to their senses 🙂

  2. I can’t say enough good things about the TF300. The battery life is unbelievable (I usually can go three days of light to medium usage with my refurbished unit); screen looks great for web browsing, watching videos, or reading ebooks; wi-fi reception is better than most laptops I’ve owned; and the docked form factor is always superior to tablet-only or iPad/Surface-style docks when sitting in a couch or easy chair. My only complaint is that you can’t disable the touch-to-click on the trackpad… but you can disable the whole thing and use the touchscreen, and enable the trackpad with a function key if you’re highlighting text.

I still don’t understand how this hasn’t become the “standard” form factor/combination for all 9-10″ tablets. Unless Asus received one hell of a patent.
