Netbooks may largely be a thing of the past, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still find a portable Windows notebook for around $200. Acer is selling refurbished Aspire One 756 models for just $200 at the moment.

For that price you get a laptop with an 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display, a 1.1 GHz Intel Celeron 847 dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive and Windows 8.

  1. i love my little ao756. With one caveat – the speakers are really weak. This could be a dealbreaker for some.

  2. “Refurb Acer Aspire One 756 11.6″ Windows 8 laptop w/Celeron 847 for $200”

That’s the Acer C7 Chromebook with windows instead of Chrome. If you don’t absolutely have to have windows, you can always get this Chromebook new for $199. And you can install and dual boot Chrubuntu if you want a full OS.

    1. Kins of… It’s more like the Acer C7 Chromebook is this without Windows, since the Aspire One 756 came first and Acer barely changed it to make it a chromebook.

Either way, both are pretty good deals.
