Want a tiny desktop computer? There are plenty of options, ranging from a PC-on-a-stick like the Intel Compute Stick or a cheap, low-power computer like a Raspberry Pi.
Want something a little more versatile? The Gigabyte BRIX line of products include some of the features that you might not get on the smaller models including VGA and Ethernet jacks.
Newegg is offering one of the best prices I’ve ever seen for a Gigabyte BRIX computer. Right now you can pick up a model with an Intel Celeron N2807 Bay Trail processor for just $100.
Note that this is a barebones computer: you’ll need to supply your own memory, storage, and operating system. But if you’re looking for something a little less DIY, check out some of the other mini PCs options in today’s roundup of deals.

That Vivomini is definitely a better buy than the Brix. For only $50 more you get a Haswell celeron which is about 50% more powerful than the N2807 in the Brix.
In ten years we’ll refer to computers that size as desktops. 😉
Or “local” computers, to compare between cloud-based computers.
