The HP TouchPad is kind of the tablet that won’t die… HP discontinued the tablet only two months after launching it last summer. But while the tablet didn’t sell very well at $499 and up, the TouchPad has had an amazing afterlife.
HP slashed prices on the remaining units by up to 80 percent and sold millions of units… and that was before hackers figured out how to install Android on the HP TouchPad, allowing it to run hundreds of thousands of apps that aren’t available for webOS.
While it’s tough to find a TouchPad for $99 these days, refurbished models are often available for $250 or less… and today Woot is offering a refurbished 32GB TouchPad model for just $195 plus $5 for shipping.
Here are some of the day’s best deals on mobile tech.

I’ll take my TouchPad with its two OS, versus any Official Android tablet.
Last year’s refurbished 10-inch Android tablets are going for between $200 and $250 now, which makes $200 Touchpads less of a steal than they were a few months back, especially if they have an official ICS upgrade.
