The problem with my amd E-350 Zotac is there is a slight hitch in the video when watching live sports streaming. I think I need a one with a slightly faster processor.
The model Brad is referring to is the Celeron N2930. It has a passmark score more than double what the AMD E 350 has.
The AMD E-350 and a few other chips from that era also had known problems handling streaming video from some sites: I always had issues with netflix with devices featuring that chipset.
Hey, this seems like a good deal on a refurb Acer Chromebook 13: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Acer-Chromebook-CB5-311-Tegra-K1-Quad-Core-16GB-13-3-LED-WIFi-White-Laptop-/121615549026
Unfortunately, it’s the low-end version (2GB ram, 16GB storage, 1366 x 768 screen), but for $160 it isn’t bad. Personally, I’m waiting for the version with the 1920 x 1080 screen to come down <$200.
