Google Android 4.0 tablets aren’t in a club quite as exclusive as the one that contained Android 3.0 tablets. Google felt that in order to provide a decent experience, tablets running Android 3.0 through 3.2 needed to meet certain requirements. So the company only made source code available to a small group of manufacturers that met those requirements.
But Google Android 4.0 source code has been available for anyone to use for months, and so Android 4.0 tablets are a dime a dozen.
OK, not literally, but some of them are really quite cheap. For example Polaroid offers a 7 inch tablet which was recently available from Big Lots for under $100. That deal is done and gone, but you can pick up the same tablet today for $115. It may not have the best display or the fastest processor, but you could probably find worse ways to waste $115.
Here are some of the day’s best deals on mobile devices and accessories.
