Mother’s Day is a week away, and Amazon is kicking off a sale in hopes that you were planning on giving mom an eReader, smart speaker, tablet, or media streamer this year.

There’s nothing stopping you from buying one (or two) yourself. You can pick up an Amazon Echo Dot for $40 or a 2-pack for $60. Fire tablets are going for $40 and up. And the 4K-ready Amazon Fire TV is selling for $50 this week.

Here are some of the day’s best deals.

  1. SAME damn deals every time – can u please stop it with the amazon products

  2. I wonder if this means that a new version of the Echo Dot is on the way? $60 for two is a great price. I see it was $29.99 for the last five weeks of 2017, though.

  3. A 2-pack of Echo Dots for $60? That would be nice. Even a 2-pack for $100 would be great!!! The sale on Amazon.ca is $60 for just one Echo Dot, and no 2-packs exist on the Canadian site, as far as I can tell. Maybe I should look into paying shipping from the US, as well as USD conversion. Hmm.

    1. Nevermind; Amazon.com gives me an error stating that I must use Amazon.ca for Amazon devices for delivery to Canada. I suppose the software might be configured specifically for US-use on the Amazon.com site.

      1. I understand there are forwarders who will provide you with a USA address and forward parcels to you in Canada. I don’t know how the cost works out, however.
