Dell is one of the few companies that offers a Chromebook with an Intel Core i3 processor. The Dell Chromebook 11 with a Core i3 Haswell chip normally sells for $379 which makes the system more expensive than most Chromebooks… but a lot cheaper than a Chromebook Pixel.
But right now you can pick up a refurbished model for just $290 from Woot. Don’t need the Core i3 chip? Woot has some great deals on other Chrome OS laptops as well.
Here are some of the day’s best deals.

This may be a stupid question but if all you are basically running on a Chromebook is a web browser, why would you need an i3 processor?
Try one and see the difference, especially a 4GB model. This is the same reason people drive sport cars when a Honda Civic would do. It’s zero-to-whatever is considerably faster without sacrificing battery performance. Price-point isn’t the only reason people choose Chromebooks. Some people enjoy the performance benefits of using a light-weight OS on modern CPU’s. Hell, I’d use an i7 Chromebox if they where more affordable.
