The Acer Iconia Tab A500 was one of the first tablets to ship with an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor and Android 3.0 operating system when it hit the streets last year.
Now Acer has started to roll out an Android 4.0 software update for the tablet, meaning that while the device is nearly a year old it can still run the latest Google software. And you can pick one up cheap. Today TigerDirect is selling refurbished models for just $275.
Meanwhile if you’re in the market for a cheap ultrabook, there’s an Acer for that too — 1SaleADay is offering a refurbished Aspire S3 ultrabook with a 13.3 inch screen, Core i5 CPU, 20GB SSD and 320GB hard drive for $550. That’s the best price I’ve ever seen for any ultrabook.
