The Lenovo IdeaPad A1 isn’t the best 7 inch Android tablet around. It has a relatively slow 1 GHz TI OMAP 3 processor, just 512MB of RAM, and a 1024 x 600 pixel display. It also ships with Android 2.3 Ginger Bread instead of a newer version of Google’s mobile operating system.
But the IdeaPad A1 does have one thing going for it today – you can pick it up dirt cheap. Newegg is offering refurbished models for just $69 after rebate.
If you’re willing to put in a little extra work, you can also install a custom ROM that will let you run Android 4.0 on the IdeaPad A1.
Or for a few dollars more you can get a pre-owned Amazon Kindle Fire.

I’d spend the extra $11 and get the kindle fire since the Lenovo isn’t much better than a Nook Color
