I think, the Jolla pad is a really great deal for $299, especially in comparison to the offered ipad…
Almost anything is unless you just gotta have an IOS product.
The biggest advantage the iPad has over the Jolla is that it’s actually available in stores. The Jolla isn’t due to be released until May, and no finished tablet has been properly reviewed by anyone. I have high hopes for it (I still tinker with a Nokia N770, the Jolla’s spiritual ancestor, that I bought almost 9 years ago) but at the moment it’s nott an actual shipping product.
the iPad mini 2 is about $400, which isn’t too bad. But I’m saving up money for the Shield with X1 chip. I hope that will be as great as it sounds.
