The HP TouchPad may not be available for $99 anymore, but you can still pick up this 9.7 inch webOS tablet for a reasonably good price from time to time. Today Newegg is offering deals on refurbished 16GB and 32GB TouchPads with prices starting at $225.
That’s not a bad price for a tablet with a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, a 1024 x 768 pixel display, and 1GB of RAM — especially one that can dual boot webOS and Google Android 4.0 if you’re willing to roll up your sleeves and do a little warranty-voiding work on the tablet.
A few other refurbished tablets are also on sale today, and Amazon has a decent deal on an older Dell ultraportable laptop.
