Be very Careful when you buy a Zenfone 2! ASUS is pulling a fast one in many regions by selling these with dumbed down processors and other components. Sometimes the prices are lower for the bad versions, sometimes they’re not. The key is in knowing the different part numbers. But that’s a hard story to follow. Also know the Zenfones stick you with the crummy ZenUI overlay plus a huge boatload of bloatware!
Can you share some details on the “dumbed down processors / other components”? I’d like to know the difference and how to detect it…
